Medusa’s Kitchen… again!

Medusa’s Kitchen has again selected some of my found poems (on the theme of bells) for publication in the latest issue, out today. (Click the images to see them a little larger and clearer.) Very grateful to Editor/Wrangler-in-Chief Kathy Kieth for including my work.

Very pleased to have one of my found poems included in the delicious Superpresent, Volume 3, Number 1, all about food. Thanks to the editors for this tasty issue!

The Madrona Project

Just received my copy of The Madrona Project: Art in a Public Voice, a beautifully produced volume of poems written about public art in Cascadia.

Non-Sign II” is a sculpture by Annie Han and Daniel Mihalyo of Lead Pencil Studio. It sits on a low knoll on the U.S. side of the southbound Peace Arch border crossing from Canada. Luther Allen and I co-wrote “Non-Sign II: Oculus” in response to the sculpture and we are honored to have it included in this handsome volume published by Empty Bowl, edited by Samuel Green, Sally Green, and Michael Daley, and printed by Gray Dog Press. Each poem is accompanied by a color photo of the artwork that inspired it. If you are interested in the intersection between poetry and public art, this fine volume should be in your collection.
