It would be an honor and a pleasure to see you in the audience this evening, Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the award ceremony for the 2016 Ken Warfel Fellowship. The doors open at 6:45pm and events get underway at 7:00pm. Please join me at the Mount Baker Theatre, Encore Room, 104 North Commercial Street, Bellingham, Washington. (Use the Champion Street door to enter the Encore Room.)

Good news!

After a couple of rather fruitless hours in the word room, I finally got around to opening my email and found good news waiting. It seems I’ve been awarded the 2016 Ken Warfel Fellowship!

I am so very grateful to poetrynight and to this year’s poet/judges: Angela Belcaster, C.J. Prince, Carol McMillan, Jim Milstead, Michael E. Bradley, Malcolm Kenyon, and Suzanne Carlson-Prandini. Apparently I will be expected to hold forth at the official announcement ceremony on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the Mount Baker Theatre, here in Bellingham, Washington. See you there?
